The company was founded by a team of ex-Amazon, Farfetch, and Whatnot. We're seeking an iOS Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of e-commerce in the MENA region.
About the Role
As an iOS Engineer at Trofee, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our iOS application, which is a key component of our livestream shopping platform. You will work closely with our design and backend teams to create a seamless and engaging user experience for our customers in the MENA region. This role requires a strong focus on crafting intuitive, high-performance user interfaces using SwiftUI and leveraging modern concurrency techniques to ensure a smooth and responsive app experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement intuitive and responsive user interfaces using SwiftUI.
- Ensure the application performs well and is optimized for the best user experience.
Leverage modern concurrency practices in Swift to handle asynchronous tasks
efficiently.
- Collaborate with the backend engineering team to integrate APIs and services.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall quality of the codebase.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest iOS development trends and technologies.
Requirements
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI.
- Experience with modern concurrency in iOS development (e.g., async/await, Combine).
- Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and a passion for creating visually appealing, user-friendly interfaces.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of livestreaming technologies.
- Familiarity with the MENA region's market and user preferences.
- Previous experience in e-commerce or social media applications.
